It is the true story of none other than the producer of the film, Sandeep Kapur. He had an ad agency and during the drive in Delhi his office was sealed. We have developed his real life drama into a fiction and I have stepped into his shoes," he explains.
However, Manoj says there is no comment on sealing as such in the film. "We have not made any political comment on sealing. It is more about the protagonist's struggle to get his life back on track," he says.
But why it is called 'Jugaad'? "Well, it's all about the 'jugaads' that the man does with his friends to get back his office, so its title is aptly kept as 'Jugaad'," quips Manoj.
So, what is his expectation from the film? "We have tried to show that no time is worse if you can give all your effort you can come out of it and we hope that the message reaches the audience," he says.
